![]() You might need Duke Vision to make your way around in some parts. Open the door and make your way into the stairwell, where you can head up away from the flooding. Go down to the bottom floor (swim if you have to) and follow the Exit sign. Toward the end you can find a hole at the top you can hop out to begin Part 2. Swim into the pipe that the Leech came out of. This will give you the stage’s only (and the game’s last) unique Ego Boost, and if you’ve been playing along with out guide, you should get a Max Ego message. When he’s downed, resist the urge to get air unless you desperately need it, since you have to get to him pretty quickly to do the needed Strength Tap to finish him off. The RPG works surprisingly well despite the aquatic setting, just stay near the bubbles and one of the two supply crates. The Energy Leech spawns and starts making a mess of things. There’s an RPG not far from the next big circular grate. Don’t worry too much about conserving ammo, there are crates up ahead. Some Octabrains show up to hassle you along the way. Each time you throw one, the bubbles leading back will shut off and the ones leading ahead will open up. You’ll continue in this fashion for a few more valves. Get back to the pipes and make your way to the next valve. Look for the air pocket here to find a Borderlands head (Helmet 3 of 3 for the Bucket Head achievement/trophy). ![]() Right after this, you can look left at some wreckage with a body floating near it. Just after the first valve, you'll swim through a stone archway. Note that this valve won’t work if you haven’t planted the charge. Now continue to follow the yellow pipe to the next valve and turn it so you can get air up ahead. Look for the giant circular grate and plant the first charge on it. Try to follow the yellow pipe along, so you have air. The words "f**k,""sh*t,""c*ck," and "a*shole" appear in dialogue and on-screen text. This is a huge open area. Players can use both steroid pills and beer as power-ups when beer is consumed, the screen temporarily blurs. Bathroom humor includes the ability to urinate in toilets or urinals and/or pick up feces from toilets and throw it against walls. Duke's comments range from jokes about colon cleansing to several one-liners about sex and female body parts. The game also contains several sexual references and innuendo in the dialogue (e.g., "I have hungry-you have big egg ro' for me, Duke,""If you supply the dancing, I'll supply the pole," and "I'll need something naughty to play with."). A few sequences strongly imply sexual acts: two women appear to perform fellatio on the central character (e.g., raising their heads from his lap)-though there is no actual depiction of the sex act Duke moans and leans up against the wall of a bathroom stall (furnished with a hole)-it is implied that a sex act (not depicted) occurs. A couple of missions within this level require players to recover sex toys and pictures of topless women. During the course of the game, players enter a strip-club level and view several topless dancers and receive lap dances. In one sequence, players have the ability to shoot human characters that are trapped in pod-like alien webbing bodies explode into pieces upon impact. Some sequences depict more "over-the-top" instances of violence: aliens getting stabbed in the head or impaled a human soldier bursting into bloody gibs after being tossed through propeller blades. Aliens are often decapitated or dismembered when hit, sending large splashes of blood across the ground, surrounding walls, and players' screen. The majority of gameplay involves destroying these enemies in frenetic gun and laser battles in order to move on to the next section. ![]() Players use pistols, rail guns, shotguns, explosives, and Duke's bare hands to attack and kill the alien enemies. This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of Duke Nukem, an action hero who must save Earth from invading aliens. ![]()
